Wool cat toys & wool dog toys

Hi everyone! So what is it about wool and pets? Why do dogs love wool? Why do cats love wool? Thank cod I am here to answer all your probing questions, right?! MOL

Wool is an all natural fiber that comes from sheep and other animals. Both cats and dogs seem to love the smell and texture of wool. From our vast experience pets are drawn to wool toys and beds. In fact, we know that most cats will be drawn to these beds, where ever you decide to place one!

Wool cat toys are best for very playful and/or chewing cats, as some cats will not be interested in these toys. Although a bit of NIP or silvervine would help for some biting action!

Wool dog toys are super durable and very tough for dogs. Many of these toys will last for years and can be washed to freshen them up. While these toys are not edible since they are natural they are safe to try with aggressive chewers.

All these toys are solid felted wool made of 100% New Zealand wool. They do not contain any stuffing, squeakers, or anything else. They are handmade by artisans. And all dyes used are always AZO-free.

Now let’s meow about the beds! So long as the size is right these are great for both cats and dogs. Whether looking for wool dog beds or mats we now have 4 different styles/sizes to choose from. The natural wool fibers allow air to flow through these beds making them great year round beds. We use ours even in the middle of summer!

So to summarize it up:

  1. Wool toys and beds are all natural, have attractive smell, and texture.
  2. They are solid felted wool made with AZO-free dyes.
  3. Beds are cool in the summer and warm in the winter.
  4. Toys are super durable and can take a lot of biting action. (as always please monitor your dogs)

These are so cute, and we know we’d love a couple, but our human mom is allergic to wool so we couldn’t have them. Phooey! Purrs and hugs from the kitties at The Cat on My Head, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette

  • My human loves this blue but she doesn’t understand it’s not a human bed!
Kitshka has some wool toys, one of which is coming from your store 🙂 She loves them!

I need some cat toys that my cat bro Bert would enjoy playing with but not eat. He eats all the toys we give him and that is dangerous, so he doesn’t have toys anymore which is sad. We last tried felt mice but he ate them completely in less than 5 minutes!
